Spring has sprung.

Being the 18th of September we are well into spring here on the west coast of Australia. This morning it's warm and sunny. A perfect day to walk to the local shopping centre and buy a crisp freshly baked loaf of bread to go with a salad lunch in a few hours time. The native birds are plentiful hereabouts and are busy with their spring activities such as nesting and raising babies. The early mornings are heavily perfumed by the flowering of our citrus trees. Our olive trees are also flowering and it appears we will be having a record crop of olives towards the end of summer next year. Our grape vines are also shooting, as are our mulberry, pomegranate and macadamia trees. It's all happening in this neck of this neck of the woods.
