| Bio: | I'm a family man with nine kids (5-27). My wife Jill and I have celebrated our marriage since 1973. We live at Palmyra near Fremantle Western Australia. A Vietnam veteran with the Australian Army in 1966-67 - I then did a variety of jobs until I had a mid-life crisis and took out a BA hons 1, and a PhD. My "common-man" essays are mostly about survival in the 21st century. I do them for my own amusement. My philosophy when writing them, seeing as I an a doctor of philosophy, is no swearing - no porn - no hidden catches - no spam - no religious propaganda - no smoking. Just try to be good; and smile.
